Our 5-Year Workmanship Warranty
Mass Window & Door is dedicated to providing exceptional construction services to our clients. As a demonstration of our commitment to quality, we offer an industry-leading 5-Year Workmanship Warranty for all building renovations we undertake. This warranty is designed to give our clients peace of mind knowing that the workmanship of their project is guaranteed for a period of 5 years following completion.
This warranty is our promise to you that the work performed by our team meets the highest standards of craftsmanship in the industry. We stand behind our work and will address any issues that arise within the warranty period promptly and professionally.
Coverage Period
The coverage period for this warranty begins on the date of project completion as stated in the final invoice provided to the client. The warranty will remain in effect for a period of 5 years from this date.
Coverage Details
- Our warranty covers any defects or issues related to the workmanship of the renovation project performed by our team.
- We will repair or replace any faulty material at no additional cost to the client during the warranty period.
- Normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by factors outside of our control are not covered under this warranty.
Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide exceptional service, our liability under this warranty is limited to the cost of labor and materials required to repair or replace the defective workmanship. We are not liable for any consequential or incidental damages.
How to Make a Claim
In the event that a client needs to make a claim under this warranty, they must notify us in writing within 30 days of discovering the issue by submitting our contact form. Our team will then schedule a visit to assess the problem and determine the appropriate course of action.
Owner’s Responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring proper maintenance of the renovated area to prevent any issues that may void the warranty. Regular inspections and upkeep are essential to preserving the quality of the workmanship.
Transferability
This warranty does not carry any form of transferability rights, meaning that it cannot be transferred from one person to another, nor can it be applied to any project other than the originally agreed-upon renovation. The warranty is valid exclusively for the original client who engaged our services for the specific renovation project we were contracted to carry out.
Manufacturer Warranties
In addition to our workmanship warranty, the windows, doors, roofing, and siding we install are backed by their manufacturers’ own product warranties. Coverage terms vary by brand and product line, and we’re happy to walk you through the warranty that comes with your specific products. For example:
- Alside Mezzo Windows are backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty, with an optional glass breakage warranty.
- Alside Promenade Sliding Patio Doors are backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty.
- Alside Black Exterior Laminate and FrameWorks exterior color finishes carry a 10-year fade-resistance warranty.
